Call me a total cheeseball but making punny printable valentines is one of my favorite things to do each year. After I’m done I’ll usually show Kayla all of the different ones I created and let her decide if she wants to use any of them for her class valentines at school. It took Kayla about three seconds to decide that this donut valentine printable was her favorite this year.
To use my donut valentine printable here is what you’ll need:
- Donut erasers
- My donut valentine printable which you can download in pink, purple or turquoise.
- Card stock
- String or baker’s twine
- Scissors – if you like my rose gold scissors you can find them here
- Craft knife or box cutter (this is optional but makes things go faster)
To start, print my donut valentine printable four per page on card stock. I keep a ream of card stock in my office and man does it come in handy throughout the year! Since the erasers are small it’s totally fine to print these 4 per page which will save you card stock and time cutting them out.
With a craft knife or box cutter I cut two small horizontal slits towards the middle of the open white space of my donut valentine printable and ran the baker’s twine through them to attach the donut eraser. That’s it! Super easy, right?
With the exception of using the craft knife a child Kayla’s age (8) can do most of this themselves. All that’s left to do is have them sign their name and you’re set! Want to save my donut valentine printable for when you’re ready? Just pin the image below.
