Nutella Smore Pizza, how could you go wrong? This blog post was sponsored by Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads but the opinions are all mine. #HelloNaan
There is no question that back to school is a stressful time for all parties involved. We stayed up late. We slept in. We did cannonballs, we made s’mores with our neighbors and came home smelling like a campfire. Now it’s time to undo all of that and become creatures of routine and structure. Le sigh. I find myself in this constant battle of wanting to be eat your vegetables mom and wanting to be fun mom. It’s about balance, right?
I think dessert should be an infrequent but awesome treat after eating proteins and veggies so I’m sharing the ultimate motivator for my family – Nutella smore pizza. The best part? It’s mini so we share it and everyone gets a piece but really, they’re having a fraction of what they’d have it we were actually making s’mores. It feels like a little bit of summer even after we’ve returned to our regular routine.
To make my Nutella smore pizza I started with Stonefire mini naan. I love that they have no added preservatives and are manufactured in a facility that does not process nuts. I grabbed mine at Ralph’s and also picked up marshmallows, Nutella and graham crackers.I put a few graham crackers in a plastic bag and crushed them with a rolling pin to make graham cracker crumbs. Next I took my Stonefire naan and spread it with Nutella. Mmmmm Nutella.
After that I simply cut a few marshmallows in half and placed them on top of the Nutella.
Last but not least I sprinkled the graham cracker crumbs all over the Nutella smore pizza Go crazy with it if you want.
After that I popped the Nutella smore pizza in the toaster oven on the toast setting. Mine took about 4 minutes for the marshmallows to look just slightly browned which is precisely how our family likes our s’mores. I love that this is simple enough to have your kids help with the cooking but small enough of a serving that
That’s it! Nutella smore pizza. You can find Stonefire naan at Ralph’s like I did and many other retailers. I love that naan is so versatile and can act as a base for so many things that are easy to cook since the hardest part is already done. Check out Stonefire.com to learn more about why their product is different from most bread you’ll find in stores and get some really neat recipes.
