Do you ever feel like you’re a juggling circus act? I do. As a small business owner, freelance influencer strategist and mother of two, the juggle is real…and life sometimes feels like a three ring circus.
Step right up folks and see the eleven handed woman tackle lunch packing, contract signing, DIYing, pacifier finding, photo editing, thoughtful gift shopping and so much more.Except like most of you, I only have two hands. One of which is perpetually holding a koala-like toddler. Sound familiar? The last sixteen months of my life have been all about doing things on the go, one handed and as efficiently as possible. I recently got some much needed help from the new Blackberry PRIV.
Behold the playground paparazzi. Capturing that moment she became the mother she swore she would never be and dressed her child in a coat he couldn’t put his arms down in. With 18 megapixels, I’m more likely to be able to leave my DSLR at home.
Watch the amazing bicycle assembling mother! These days custom bicycles don’t come with printed instructions inside the box, they come via online tutorials and YouTube videos. That 5.4″ screen sure does help when trying to see the close up details of bike assembly.
But the results? Perfection!
For one caffeine fueled morning only I present the endless gift wrapping woman. There will be bows. There will be lots of bows. There will also inevitably be moments of realizing a gift has been forgotten. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime! A few touches from my PRIV and we’re good to go.
Which inevitably leads me to a few work emails and contracts to sign. The nature of my job both on this blog and overseeing content other influencers create on behalf of brands means that I have a flexible schedule but to an extent I’m always “on.” I love being able to do this right from my phone without having to head to my desk.
When I reflect back upon the different phones I have had over the years I always come back to my Blackberry circa 2006 as one of my favorite devices. Granted it was before touch screens were a “thing” but I found I was able to fire off emails so quickly and easily with the keyboard.
A decade later I’ve obviously come to love a touch screen but have always missed that keyboard. In fact I usually don’t send emails requiring a response of more than a sentence or two from my phone because it still just never felt as easy as using a keyboard.
What I love most about the Blackberry PRIV is that it allows me to switch back and forth between a touch screen keyboard and hidden qwerty keyboard for longer communications. That gives me the ability to have a faster response time and also to get back to the other important things in life. Like this guy.
The new Blackberry PRIV has an Android operating system, an 18 megapixel rear facing camera, a pretty sweet touch screen display and of course the impressive hidden keyboard that slides out and hides away easily.I also love the Blackberry Hub where I can easily see what’s going on in my email as well as all of my social accounts in one central location. If you’re like me and you’ve longed for a keyboard, the PRIV is definitely worth taking a look at!
