Need a FROZEN party favor? Make my glitter dyed pasta necklace FROZEN party favors! They’re fun to create, inexpensive and way better than a bag-o plastic junk. The colors pay homage to Queen Elsa and seriously, what little girl doesn’t LOVE a sparkly necklace? Especially one she gets to string herself.
First, you’ll want to make some glitter dyed pasta. If you’re making this for a FROZEN party favor, I recommend approximately 1 bag of pasta for every 8 guests. You can see my full tutorial on how to make glitter dyed pasta here.
To make these easy FROZEN party favors you’ll need:
- Glitter dyed pasta
- Snack size reclosable plastic bags
- Bakers twine or string
- Card stock
- Glue Spots
Bag your glitter dyed pasta in the snack size bags. I’d allow about 20 pieces of pasta per child, more if you want them to be able to make a coordinating bracelet or a couple of necklaces. Add a length of baker’s twine. It’s durable, inexpensive and comes in an array of colors. Embroidery floss will also easily do the trick.
Next, download and print my Do You Wanna Build A Necklace printable on your card stock. It prints 2 per page and allows you to fold the card stock over for a nice sturdy topper to your bags. The black line at the top is a guide for you to know where to cut so the cards fold over evenly. After cutting out the cards, I scored them using a utility knife so the folded with a clean line.
The last step is to attach the cards to the snack size bags. I like to use Glue Spots for this. Reason being that they hold the bag topper in place perfectly and are easily removed by children without the danger of staples. That’s it, you’ve got some easy FROZEN party favors!
