Over winter break our friends at Nintendo sent a surprise package with Mario Party Star Rush in it and I put it aside to save for Kayla’s quickly approaching 8th birthday. It always sneaks up on me. By the time I pack up the holiday decorations BAM, I’m supposed to be hosting a birthday party. So in thinking of something easy and fun I could do to highlight Kayla’s current Mario love affair I made this simple Super Mario Bros printable star confetti.
You can download my Super Mario Bros printable star confetti printable, print it on card stock and let your kids go to town coloring those stars before cutting them out. Since stars are simple shapes, even the youngest artists like two year old Blake can participate in the fun with successful results.
One you’ve made your Super Mario Bros printable star confetti they are great for table scatter at a celebration, to tuck inside a party invitation or if you’re feeling extra crafty you can string them together to create a garland or backdrop.
If you’re looking for some cute party favors I love these little candy filled coin boxes and candy filled mushrooms. A while back I made this DIY Super Mario Bros cross body bag for Kayla and filled it with similar little treats when I gave it to her. These days she uses it to store her amiibos and I’m sure she’ll be excited to add Daisy to her small but growing collection.
