Lately it’s been all about the kids. In so many regards. All the way down to the valentines I have been making. But then my amazingly talented friend Allison from All For The Memories had an idea. She saw my valentine bubbles printable and said what about champagne? Seriously. What ABOUT champs? Then she said the word “galentine.” That was it. So without further ado, I present you with a few fabulous galentine ideas.
I started with with the champs. To keep things girly, fun and easily shared I picked out a package rose champagne splits and created a cute printable champagne gift tag. You can pick up a set package of these “adult bubbles” for under $20 in some cases and certainly under $30 in most.
Those bubbles are delicious and keeping with the rose feeling I thought this new Vaseline® Lip Therapy® Rosy Lips was just perfect. For your fanciest of friends, it even comes in a limited edition bejeweled version available at Kitson for $45. You’d better believe that the second Kayla laid eyes on it she wanted it. Badly. I think she’ll be surprised to find it in her little Valentine’s Day gift.. I’ll be in New York on business so it seems appropriate to leave something sparkly and shiny behind as a special treat while I’m gone.
I’ll be taking the jewel-less version (available for $2.29 at many mass retailers) with me because OMG going from 75 and sunny to 20 and frozen plus a lot of hours on an airplane means chapped lips. I really dislike lipstick and just feel comical wearing it. Vaseline® Lip Therapy® Rosy Lips has a tinge of pink for color but looks perfectly natural, has a faint rose scent and deeply moisturizes for that perfect pout.
If you’ve read some of my recent Valentines Day posts, you’d know I am having a love affair with my gold scissors. They are just happy, fun and amazing. There is a matching stapler out there. You can pair them up as the perfect gift for a crafty friend at just about $35. Throw in the Kate Spade placemat (I use it as a desk blotter) and you’re still just under $50 for your galentine. Now aren’t you the best friend ever?
